Jet dryers and chambers for painted surfaces
At Venjakob, we develop jet dryers and flash-off chambers that reliably prepare freshly painted workpieces for drying. Whether water-based or solvent-based paints - the defined climate in the flash-off system prepares for optimum drying, stabilizes the coating and ensures reproducible surface quality. The modular jet dryers and flash-off chambers can be precisely adapted to line speed, space conditions and industry requirements - from the wood and furniture industry to the automotive sector and general industry.
Jet dryers
Gentle flash-off after coating in industrial production for even paint coats
The VEN FLASH OFF jet dryer enables gentle, even flash-off after coating in industrial production directly inline after application. A laminar air flow evaporates volatile components in a controlled manner without affecting the fresh paint application. This creates homogeneous coating patterns, ideally prepared for coating drying systems, IR or UV systems - with high throughputs and short cycle times.
Evaporation chambers with infrared
IR-assisted flash-off after coating in industrial production for faster evaporation of water-based or thick-film coatings
The VEN FLASH OIR evaporation chamber offers a closed process environment in which the temperature and air flow remain constant regardless of the hall climate. Optional integrated IR modules accelerate the evaporation of water-based coatings and thick layers - ideal for demanding series production. This allows high quantities to be produced with a constant level of quality and optimized process times.
Stable evaporation processes are crucial for processing water-based coatings without skin formation. A defined microclimate in the jet dryer ensures consistently high surface quality - regardless of temperature or moisture fluctuations in production.

Flash-off after coating in industrial production
Flash-off after coating in industrial production is an early but crucial step after the paint application. In this phase, the paint film is deliberately kept open so that volatile components can evaporate in a controlled and reproducible manner. The defined evaporation process prevents skin formation, stabilizes the surface structure and ensures that subsequent convection, IR or UV drying steps encounter an optimally prepared film.
This creates a resilient initial state for all further drying processes.
Evaporation systems: sustainable and safe
An energy-efficient evaporation process contributes significantly to the overall ecological balance of a painting line. Flow-optimized air flow, defined process parameters and stable climatic conditions significantly reduce material consumption, rejects and rework.
At the same time, monitored air exchange rates and standard-compliant temperature control ensure that paint vapors remain within the permissible range at all times. The modular system design enables long-term expandability - a decisive advantage for sustainable investments and future water-based coating systems.
