Venjakob was founded in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in 1963 and is now one of the world's leading suppliers of industrial coating systems. As a family-run company in its third generation, Venjakob develops individually designed solutions for complete production lines, combining many years of experience with ingenuity, precision and a high level of process expertise.

With around 380 employees, production sites in Germany and the USA and an international sales and partner network, Venjakob has a global presence. Modular, multi-patented systems, certified quality and environmental standards and a globally uniform understanding of quality guarantee high-performance, sustainable solutions that meet the requirements of almost all coating industries.

Venjakob stands for top quality, in-depth expertise and a clear focus on the requirements of its customers. From consulting and test series in our own technical center to assembly, commissioning, service and training, experienced employees ensure reliable and on-time solutions for a wide range of industries.

Consistently applied quality management with a continuous improvement process goes beyond the requirements of ISO 9001. This claim is complemented by an integrated management system that firmly anchors occupational health and safety and environmental responsibility. Every machine is tested under real production conditions and stands for tested, sustainable and economical quality.

Since 2000, ISO 9001 certification has provided us with a flexible framework for continuous improvement. The changeover to the new 2015 version of the standard took place in March 2018.

This certification enables us to use resources responsibly and efficiently. As a manufacturer of environmentally friendly machines, we and our customers therefore enjoy a decisive market advantage.

The introduction of the ISO 50001 energy management system is the logical development of our environmental management system, which has been in place for more than 20 years. It serves as an important basis for our objective of constantly improving the sustainability of the company.

1963 | Venjakob goes to the starting line

Heinrich and Anneliese Venjakob set up a locksmith's shop in Rheda.

1964 | The first pickling machine

Barely a year after its foundation, Venjakob launches its first own development on the market.

1969 | Relocation and expansion

Venjakob is growing - and needs more space. The company moves into its headquarters in Augsburger Straße in Rheda-Wiedenbrück.

1976 | Expansion and generational change I

Venjakob operates internationally for the first time. And Otto Nüßer joins the company, initiating the generational change.

1993 | Opening for new materials

Everything that was previously only for wood is now gradually coating other materials as well.

2002 | Venjakob goes America

Venjakob North America is launched and the company expands its production by 4000 m2 to 11,500m2.

2003 | More room for development

Venjakob modernizes its technical centre and expands it to 1,200m2.

2006 | Entry into environmental technology

Venjakob takes over Pflock & Meckeler, which henceforth trades under the name Venjakob Umwelttechnik.

2008 | Expansion and generational change II

Venjakob takes over Nutro Inc (USA). In the same year, Christian Nüßer, the third generation, joins the company management alongside Otto Nüßer.

2012 | New construction and expansion of plant 1

Venjakob inaugurates the new final production facility - and the extension to the office building. A total area of 1,200m2.

2013 | Company anniversary

Venjakob turns 50 and the new high-bay warehouse is inaugurated just in time for the celebration. Otto Nüßer, 2nd generation Managing Partner, retires from the company.

2014 | Double top management

Christian Nüßer, Managing Partner, appoints Rudolf Eickhoff as Technical Managing Director. In the same year, the incoming goods area isextended by 230m2 .

2023 | Sixty

Venjakob has been on the market for six decades: a wealth of experience for perfect coating. In a new extension, the company creates 8000 m² more space for production: prefabrication and steel construction as well as for a new welding shop and paint shop.

Strategic market entry: Venjakob systematically expands its existing expertise in roller coating and invests in the necessary sales structures.

Social commitment has been firmly anchored in Venjakob's corporate culture since the company was founded in 1963.
