This year, the VEN AIR Vortex cyclone system is one of seven technologies to receive the long-standing innovation award from the international wood and furniture industry. The “IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award” places special emphasis on products, processes, and services that represent demonstrable progress for the industry.
“We are delighted to receive this international award, which we view as recognition of our ongoing development efforts in the areas of cost-effectiveness and sustainability,” says Christian Nüßer, Managing Director of Venjakob Maschinenbau. On behalf of Venjakob, its U.S. distribution partner, Stiles Machinery, accepted the Challengers Award at their joint trade show booth on August 25.
The VEN AIR Vortex paper-filterless cyclone system is designed for exhaust air streams from industrial coating processes. Compared to traditional filter systems, it offers significantly reduced machine downtime, lower operating costs, and more stable conditions in the coating process. According to Venjakob, it proves particularly effective in applications where industrial finishing is done at high speeds and more overspray is generated.
