Exhaust air purification through Incineration processes

Incineration processes are the most important method of industrial exhaust air purification and ensure that VOCs and other organic components are safely oxidized. It is suitable for exhaust air flows with different levels of pollution from coating, drying or adhesive processes and forms the basis for stable, legally compliant emission values.

Complementary exhaust air purification processes

In addition to thermal processes, exhaust air systems can be expanded to include adsorption, concentration and energy recovery. These supplementary processes enable an increase in efficiency in certain exhaust air situations and support energy-optimized system operation.

Zeolite rotors are used for concentration, which adsorb VOCs from large, low-pollution exhaust air streams. The concentrated exhaust air is then thermally oxidized, which reduces the energy requirement of the main process and improves system efficiency.

Thermal energy can be recovered from purified exhaust air via heat exchangers or regenerative storage units. This heat can be used in dryers, process air or for hall heating and significantly reduces the overall energy requirement.
