Venjakob Acquires Nutro Corporation
(Strongsville, OH): Venjakob Holding GmbH has acquired the assets of Nutro Corporation of Strongsville, Ohio and has formed a new company, Nutro Inc.
The acquisition combines Venjakob’s worldwide resources in producing paint, pretreatment, material-handling and curing technologies with Nutro Inc.'s US engineering and manufacturing resources and Nutro Inc.’s expertise in custom engineered liquid and powder paint finishing systems.
“Venjakob’s purchase of Nutro presents both companies with exciting new opportunities” says Nutro president Barney Klevay. “Nutro Inc. gives Venjakob a strong engineering and manufacturing base in the heart of the US industrial market, while Venjakob’s broad product line allows Nutro Inc. to extend its reach into new, but allied, finishing markets” says Klevay.
Nutro Inc. provides custom engineered systems in the automotive, ceramics, electronics and general industrial markets, specializing in chain-on-edge and highly automated applications as well as UV, infrared and induction heating and robotic technologies. Venjakob has a global reputation for its finishing systems in the wood, pipe and tube, automotive, and plastics finishing segments. Privately owned, Venjakob started in 1963 and today has more than 220 employees. Venjakob has developed itself from an engineering company to a worldwide system manufacturer of surface and handling technology.
